Before a designer can begin the design phase of the site, you need to point us in the right direction. The more guidance, the better. Often times, an existing album cover or series of photographs can help accomplish this. Pointing us to other sites that are similar is generally helpful too. If you say something like, “just make it cool” that’s fine, but I will have to slap you and charge extra… haha. What makes a site cool varies greatly from one person to the next. Why is it cool, is what I need to know.

The greater the budget, the more time the designer can spend, and for high-end sites you’ll want to allow for multiple revisions. Otherwise, with proper guidance we can nail the design in the first take, which saves time and money.
